The default standard controller G-901.RA5197 meets most specifications at a good price-performance ratio.
The high-end controller G-901.RA5486B is designed to meet all specifications according to the technical data sheet.
For less demanding applications, X-365 can be paired with a range of suitable third-party controls. This controller flexibility allows customers to balance performance, cost, and system complexity without locking into a single proprietary control ecosystem.
Installation and usage
How easy is it to set up, and how can it be mounted?
The mechanical system is designed for straightforward setup, ready to be mounted on a flat surface meeting the specifications outlined in the product documentation. Each system is functionally tested and documented prior to shipment to ensure predictable commissioning. Customers have the option to perform the mounting themselves or request assistance from a PI engineer. Alternatively, upon customer request, the system can be mounted on a support platform at PI, and shipped as a complete, pre-aligned and qualified unit.
How easy is the integration in my system?
Integration with your system is simplified when ordering together with the ACS controller, which arrives preconfigured for the specific system you purchased. All necessary motion parameters are set in advance, and the system has undergone a functional test to ensure the performance according to the specification.
Is there Plug & Play for certain controllers?
The system ships preconfigured, streamlining the setup process. Additionally, PI offers remote and on-site training sessions to help customers get started quickly and efficiently.
